Guy Montag is a fireman. A fireman burns books. He lives in a society were books are bad. He has a wife named Mildred. He wants to read books and bring books back into society.Guy found books hidden in his house. He reads them and starts to memorize the books. Mildred,his wife, turns him in for having books. He burns his house and gets into a fight with the Captin eatty. Montag kills Captin Beatty and other fireman. Now, Montag is on the run, everbody is looking for him. He meets with other homeless people. They are scholars who ran away from society. The city were Guy lives was bombed. Now Montag and the scholars want to rebuild the city and include books in society.

Mildred Montag is Guy's wife. She watches TV all day. Mildred is clueless all the time. She overdoses on sleeping pills. Mildered is so clueless she can not remeber where she meet Montag. When Montag starts to read books she decided to turn him in. The fireman burn down there house and, she runs away from Montag. Mildred died when the city was bombed.

Clarisse McClellan is a 17 year old girl. She looks at world differently than most peole in the society. Clarisse was kicked out of school because she was different. She was different because she did not like to watch TV, like the other kids. Clarrise influnzed Montag to wonder about the world. Clarise died from a car crash.

Captian Beatty is the captin of the firemen. He knew Montag had books. He strongly dislikes books and, he supported the idea that it is illegal to read. He was killed by Montag.
